Give N Go Soccer was formed in 2008, to offer a loyal, personal coaching service for its players, clubs and communities, that other larger coaching organizations are unable to offer.
Give N Go Soccer was founded by Mark Woodward - Coach Woody,
who has acquired an extensive coaching background both in Europe and the United States. Mark arrived in the US 7 years ago and has since settled down in Jersey, becoming a Physical Education Teacher and a HS Coach. In 2008, Mark married a fellow NJ soccer coach and ex-collegiate player, who also coaches for GNG Soccer. They added to their family in June 2009, with the birth of Keegan and have a 2nd boy on the way.
In the United States, Mark worked with NOGA and then ProExcel, working in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey and Georgia, with a variety of boys and girls travel teams between U8 - U18. Mark took his 'B' License in 2003, holds a NSCAA National Diploma as well as the NSCAA State & Regional GK Diploma’s.
Mark also previously worked with Sonesoccer (New Jersey Soccer Group) for 5 years, where he was the assistant coach & GK coach of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Millburn Magic - competing at the highest level of women's amateur soccer in the United States. Mark has also coached at the College of St Elizabeth and has coached a number of high level teams in NJ, that have competed at top college showcase tournaments.

Mark is currently the Chatham HS JV Coach, Mark has had an impressive start to his 3 year HS coaching career, with 3 consecutive conference titles and an overall record of 34-7-7 Mark also assisted the Varsity Team with Head Coach Gene Foca to the County and State Finals.
The holder of a Joint Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition, Mark played for his College soccer team all the way to a National Final, before starting a career in soccer coaching. In the United Kingdom, he was employed by Boards of Education, delivering soccer training to the teachers, as well as camps and programs to young players. He was also the Head Women's Coach & Assistant Men’s Coach for Oxford Brookes University 1999-2001, before his work abroad led him to relinquish the position.
Mark chose New Jersey to settle down in because of a number of factors: 'Having lived up and down the whole of the Eastern United States', he says,
'I am impressed with the variety of life that Jersey has to offer. I feel my desire for the game and my desire to teach will enable me to really make a difference with the players I coach.' Mark has so far coached a number of collegiate bound players and long may that continue.
